I'm Cendie the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of ACEs Matter

At ACEs Matter, we raise awareness about Adverse Childhood Experiences by encouraging everyone to know their ACE score.

Taking the test can help you understand your past, assess how it might be affecting your present, and learn ways to reshape your future — and the futures of those you love. Alternatively, you might want to learn how to spot ACEs trauma responses in others.

Mother and Daughter Communicating

We are on a mission to raise awareness about ACEs prevention

At ACEs Matter, we believe that no one should be defined by their past.

Founded to address the lifelong impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), we empower first-generation college students, trauma survivors, and changemakers to rewrite their stories through trauma-informed workshops, mentorship, and holistic wellness tools.

Our Approach

At ACES MATTER, we believe lasting change begins when individuals are equipped with knowledge, supported by community, and empowered to reclaim their narratives. Our approach is rooted in three core principles:

  • Trauma-Informed Education

  • Holistic Wellness

  • Collective Empowerment
