An ACE score is NOT AN EXCUSE, but AN EXPLANATION for the feelings, thoughts, behaviors, choices, and events in our lives.
To understand the impact of childhood toxic stress and childhood adversity, [in other words ACEs] is to develop an understanding of feelings, thoughts, behaviors, choices and events in our own life. An ACE score is like a time capsule that holds events from our pass but also a looking glass into our future.
When you take a deep-dive into understanding your own ACEs, your life will flash before your eyes and a rebirth process will begin.

The results concluded that 1 in every 6 people have at least 4 or more ACEs and that 6 in every 10 people have at least one ACE. |

Take our updated version of the ACE Quiz below. We've added one additional question that represents the population of people that were raised in a neighborhood where violence or murder occurred.
5 of the questions are items that happened TO you as a child and the last 6 questions are items that you might have witnessed or been exposed to as a child.
Every "YES" answer will generate 1 point. Marking "NO" means that you don't recall that experience or that experience never happened to you.
When you complete the brief ACE questionnaire, you will receive an email with information specific to your Adverse Childhood Experiences score, along with online recommendations for support. We will also share a few important tips you can implement right away to help you minimize the risk of passing ACEs down generationally.
